Restaurant review: Dove

I have been going to the Dove for years, and have enjoyed the consistancy and the good value of their food. The comment left by trrripod is suspicious as she can't even spell the town she lives in (it is Valkaria)... and was probably trying to get a freebee with her unkept hair... I enjoy their veal and beef. The sauces are always superb. My only negative comment is that the portions are too big, and soup or salad would suffice. I have never room left for dessert.

Never had a bad expierence there. One of the best restuarants in Brevard. Other good ones, Primavera, Gussippi's, and Villa Palma. (not the atmosphere but good food)

My girlfriend and I were regulars at the Dove for the past 9 years. We knew the original owners. About 6 months ago we dined there for the last time. About one quarter through the meal while the waiter asked if everything was aceptable, at that moment my girlfriend ended up with a long black hair in her mouth from her food. She showed this to the waiter who questioned us as to the color of the hair. He could see it was black and hers was light brown. She never finihed her meal and he called over the lttle French owner to make a decision as wheather to replace her meal. The owner who we also know reluctantly agreed to pay for two of our drinks. Were treated like dirt, especially when this was a sanitary issue on the part of the establishment.

I have been to the Dove many times...and this is simply the best restaurant in Brevard County...I have not been to the brunch but evening meals several times...this is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday.
