This Eastern Mediterranean is influenced by Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Israel, Morocco and France. Skewers' Eddie Smeen describes the perfect meal, which coincidentally is served at Skewers, as the "Tour of the Mediterranean." Start with appetizers, such as humus or baba ghanouj. The main course consists of garlic chicken, lamb, beef and black tiger shrimp skewers along with a choice from the restaurant's specialty salad selections. The finale is knafeh, a traditional dessert of layered shredded dough with a homemade mild, soft cheese filling, baked and topped with syrup and chopped fresh pistachios. Skewers also features belly dancing, Hookah Pipes and an extensive wine list.
