Alfredo's Paradiso is one place to take out-of-town guests and those looking to escape the typical Italian chain restaurant. Owners Alfredo and Linda Giulio take great pride in making you feel like part of their extended family. The most popular item on the menu is the Veal Osso Bucco, with the Eggplant Imbottite (stuffed eggplant) not far behind. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, check out the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for $8. The entrees change, but on any given day you'll find chicken, pasta, eggplant, cold pasta salads and pizza. The restaurant serves different types of red and white wine. Alfredo's has an extensive Italian selection of desserts including tiramisu, cannoli, braised pears, imported ice cream, gelato and imported desserts from Italy. There are a few tables outside for those who enjoy outdoor dining. Items on the menu range from $9 to $15.
