I just moved here from MA, and the DD down here isnt quite the same...so I began looking at other places. I found the Bean and they have the best Iced Coffee, most amazing Chicken Salad ever and a great place to do some work with their complimentary Wi-Fi. They make you feel right at home from the second you walk in! So I definitely have upgraded my coffee places since my move here!!

Thank YOU bean for being amazing...keep up the good work!! :)

MORE THAN JUST COFFEE

Lazy Bean Coffee Company....and deli !! is Merritt Island's best place to go for coffee AND excellent food!!
The owners make fresh everyday homemade chicken salad in a variety of flavors and homemade egg salad. The salads and vegetables are all organic and taste wonderul.
Unbelievable prices on Boar's Head Meats and cheese--that's what they make their deli sandwiches from. Couldn't believe the price per pound compared to the advertised prices of the local supermarkets.
The atmosphere is delightful and once you go there you are treated like family! Design your own drink -- the owners encourage community ownership and want you to have everything exactly the way you want it.
Don't miss this one. Once you experience 'the bean' as regulars call it, you will be glad you've found a special place.

I like this place!

With the hustle and bustle of Merritt Island, and all the chaos with traffic, noise, and the sometimes ego of some people, there's a place to go to forget all of it. It's owned by Dottie and John, and it is family ran through and through. Their kids work there too,and the atmosphere is unreal. Quiet, and peaceful. The music is awesome and very soothing, comporable to the place. Their oldest son, Mike is a joy to meet. He talks real, unlike the staff at some places who seem like they are on a script, and Courtney, she's a doll. I highly recommend this place, weither to eat or just sit with a cup of their wonderful house coffee. Oh, and their internet is free too. And if you don't have a computer, you can use the one they have there, or you can ask Mike for his. He'll loan it to you. Such a great place this is. I am a regular, now, and I bring all my friends here.
