Howman commented on Best songs of the decade, continued
How are Sean Paul's "Get Busy" and Yankee Daddy's "Gasolina" not on this list? Both were gigantic worldwide crossover hits that introduced dancehall reggae and reggaeton to the masses. Also, Cousteau's "Last Good Day of the Year" is worthy.
gingerliu commented on Angie Stone, 'Unexpected'
The "Official" New York Listening Party (Angie will not be present). Celebrating Angie's fifth album release "Unexpected." The Grammy nominated singer/songwriter's album will feature at Billie's Black in Harlem, New York. 271 W. 119th Street. Tonight: 5.30-8.30pm
saraht commented on R. Kelly, 'Untitled'
Wow, R Kelly just gets more and more ridiculous with time. His song "Pregnant" is insane!?! I'm all for some old school R Kelly jams but he has become a caricature of himself.
saraht commented on Brendan Benson: steady as he goes
Seems like a great guy. I wanted to like the solo album more, I think its more of a grower than his past ones. What do other people think?
Sean commented on Matthew and Gunnar Nelson (Nelson)
Those Nelson twins have some shwweeeet guitars.
dtrain1008 commented on Best songs of the decade
naturally, no hard rock or metal. gotta love these worthless lists. And if you think Green Day is hard rock, you're kidding yourself.
REDAWN commented on Best songs of the decade
I definitely agree with some of the anthems listed! OMG I cannot believe it is a new decade.
Scottwood commented on American Music Awards -- a disaster
Well put Mike. I tried to watch but couldn't satisfy my attention for more than 30 seconds at a time. I only stopped occasionally while channel surfing. Stupid finale. What a joke. Love the Morse-code comparison.
cincioh commented on Metromix's favorite music of the '00s
You guys really shouldn;t do this.....you really stink at it. Have you thought about making this a cooking website or something like that?
mdg commented on Best albums of the '00s: the critics' lists
Ahem. Avett Brothers?
Vnlasteamer commented on Bill and Tom Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel)
Sexiest and most talented twins on the planet. These guys are pure love. Chuckling over your classification of TH's music: "glossy alt-pop rock anthems." 5 descriptors? It's tough to put a label on it, isn't it? They just defy genre. They're in a class all of their own.
redhotfeet commented on Rihanna, 'Rated R'
I love the new album I give it a 5 .
Cyd commented on Bill and Tom Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel)
Wow, that was incredibly insightful. Great mention for the band.
Cyd commented on The Sounds concert photos
The Sounds are amazing! I couldn't get to the couple of shows they just did here. Glad to hear they plan to come back in the fall.
Cyd commented on John Mayer, 'Battle Studies'
I was pretty underwhelmed with this album. I liked his style since the beginning of his career, but this album sounds pretty much the same as his previous albums. It's like listening to the same songs over again with different lyrics. When is he going to show off what he can do to a guitar? He saves all the good stuff for when he's on stage.
diggaz commented on Bill and Tom Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel)
Yes, you're so right, Kaulitz twins do rock.
Jaspar commented on Bill and Tom Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel)
Bill and Tom are awesome! I love Tokio Hotel!
Baltimanda commented on Matthew and Gunnar Nelson (Nelson)
Hell yeah, The Nelsons!
cincioh commented on 'Kid A,' 'Elephant' and 38 other reasons why the 2000s were a good decade for music

Drinky_McGee commented on 8. Various artists, 'Bummed Out Christmas'

tuckgoodefellow commented on Phish Festival 8: Day one
This is a well-assembled montage documenting the experience well. I hope the shots got y'all psyched for the Cobo show! Can we purchase photos from the photographers or Newspaper? My fiancee and I are in there under an umbrella sitting watching the acoustic set. Sitting at a phish show - it'd been a while.
Shelbysee commented on Peter Bjorn and John: no whistling!
And the next day you can see Band of Horses and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at the Pablove Foundation Benefit www.pablove.org
BigDaddyB60612 commented on 'O Come All Ye Faithful'
You guys are clearly going for something different here (i.e., anti-traditional). Have fun. I'll stick with Nat King Cole or Johnny Mathis - I'm not scared of the true meaning of Christmas.
BigDaddyB60612 commented on 'Little Drummer Boy'
Got to go with Lou Rawls for the best performance of this song, but Crosby/Bowie is cool.
