Sarah Jessica Parker
Even some fans of “Sex and the City” have been expressing skepticism about the sequel (set to hit theaters May 27), wondering if we’ve finally reached the point where enough is enough. Then again, beyond the “Sex” world, Parker hasn’t been able to stoke the same sort of fervor among moviegoers. “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” went nowhere fast and “Failure to Launch” wasn’t exactly memorable.
Back-up plan: Become a real-life Carrie Bradshaw. Parker should build out the “Sex” brand into the print world. She could easily land her own column, melding the celebrity of Carrie Bradshaw with her own musings on love, life and luxury. If fans have the adoration to support two big-screen adventures, wouldn’t there be quite the sizeable audience for a weekly, or monthly, Sarah Jessica Parker column?
