Brevard Zoo

The Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne features more than 550 animals from around the world, including giraffes, two white rhinos, jaguars, tapirs, siamangs, anteaters, red wolves, otters, dingoes, cassowaries, kangaroos, flying fox fruit bats, muntjacks and more. Includes train rides, kayak tours of wetlands, a playground and petting zoo, and behind-the-scenes tour. The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; last admission at 4:15 p.m. Cost is $12.50 for adults, $11.50 for seniors, $9.50 for children 2 to 12 and children under 2 are admitted free.
