Restaurant is NOT what u expect. It is rundown, in poor shape and the food is very very over priced. The fishermans platter was $18.00, for 3 shrimp and two scallops and one small piece of greasy fish. This "platter" would be less then $10.00 anyplace else. The soup was watered down. There is nothing worth ever going to this restaurant for. We had a party of 8 and we were all very disappointed. Never ever go there!

We tried Capt. Katanna's while visiting some friends in the area last winter, and it was great! Though the place was packed on a Saturday night, service was efficient, and the food was excellent-- we couldn't believe how much variety was on the menu. Also, the drinks made on the patio bar were perfect. We will definitely go back, and recommend it to others.

It started out by being sat at a table that was too small so we were made to wait 15 more minutes although we had reservations. An HOUR AND 1/2 after we sat down we complained that we had NO food! They gave the excuse that the kitchen was backed up until we pointed out that the party at our original table was leaving. I’m not lying when I say the manager told us we were wrong. He actually said that the group leaving had arrived first. The manager then continued to argue with our party until he decided that maybe he was wrong. That’s not all. There were cold sandwiches; fries and FROZEN fish. Then, more arguing with the manager. Their saving grace was that we were comped the frozen fish and our server was apologetic. I’ve heard the manager we dealt with owns another restaurant and when I find out where, I will never go there either. I do not recommend this place. The food is too expensive, the service is mediocre and I wouldn't go back there to even try it again.
