Went to Rosies recently food was good yet cook named Steve wasn't wearing gloves made me think of all the creepies, crawling on hands and were now on my food.Especially when he went out and groped girls(obviiously drunk)at lounge. Not to professional.Especially when he let the girl of his incline a darked headed big bottomed young lady left and she was definitly to intoxicated to drive. Smoky atmosphere. Have known rosie for years. Little disappointed. Food was cooked but could not eat do to improper Osha methods in preparatiion. Will attend again but only after methods of food preperation are observed in hygenic manner. Not sure about staff hitting on customers but Rosie should maybe look into that.

Pete and Brenda know their wines. I have enjoyed many an afternoon in this place. It is an enjoyable environment right on the main strip of downtown Melbourne. Great place to watch the world go by and learn more about wine.

For a Titusville Down-town establishment you think it would be a half-way decent watering hole. My lady friend requested we leave after one drink. Will not return.

My date and I went to the Viera location a few months ago, sat at the outside bar because we didn't have a reservation for Valentine's Day (shame on us), and we were treated just as well as if we had made a reservation. They had a limited set menu for the night that was on the pricey side, so we got a few martinis (2 for 1 on Tuesdays!) and quite a few appetizers and they were AMAAAAZING!! I'll be back, for sure. In response to this "Questionable Behavior" post, I think anyone reading should just completely ignore it. It's very common practice for a bartender to take a brand new straw, put it in a drink that they just made, take it out, sip the straw, and throw the straw out. They're making sure the drink is up to par to serve to a guest, and I'd much rather have my bartender make sure my drink is perfect than to just serve it to me. KThanks Go to The Melting Pot, I assure you that you'll have a great time

My friend and I went in there recently. He ordered drinks at last call, as the drinks arrived we were told the leave as the bar was closed. We protested and said We would like to finish our drinks we just ordered and received. This got the attention of the bouncers who proceeded to gang up on my friend with no warning and beat him up then throw him out the front door. He had a concussion as a result of the double teaming bouncers. I would not go near this place and hope I can steer people away. Hopefully this place does not last long as it seems the customer is always wrong and if you protest too much it will result in bouncers ganging up on you and beating you. Stay away.

This bar has a new owner that really has cleaned this place up!! Tip a Few is a great place to get cold beers and really good food...the burgers are fantastic. They have 22 TVs so you can't miss a thing, especially football or baseball. Bathrooms are very clean, and my girlfriend is really picky about using bathrooms other than McDonalds!! I would totally disregard any comments made prior to August 6th, 2012 - when the new owner took over, because the place is really fun, and we loved the food...! Definitely coming back.

So after my first review, I am told that my card is just pending and it should be fixed. But i have never had this happen before. Either way the service was mediocre, but i will still probably come back here. 1+ star to my original rating. Apologies, JD's.

MVCherry wrote about Ichabod's Bar and Grille

Having a night out with a friend and hit up a few bars last night. We drove by Ichabod's and it looked pretty interesting. So we decided to turn around and head in. My friend hadn't been there in a while so he couldn't really tell me anything about the bar. We walk in and get a seat at the bar and we are greeted by an older gentleman, "Hey guys, how are you doing this evening? What can I get you to drink?" Now working in the bar industry, I am very picky about my service because I know what the customer expects and I want to give them the best experience they have ever had to keep them coming back for more. This bartender didn't even tell us his name, so it wasn't a very warm greeting at all. Next, I asked for the drink specials, and he says, "Don't have any; have you tried downtown, this bar over here has $2.50 domestics and $3 jager shots." NEVER! NEVER! NEVER try to send someone else to another bar. They walked into your bar for a reason, not to hear about drrink specials somewhere else. This place didn't even have a drink menu, and they charged you extra for all the juices you put in your drink, HUH??? I don't even think he poured a full oz in either of our drinks. Save your money and go somewhere else, there are plenty of other bars that have better drinks, specials and a menu to look at. The one thing I hate is getting a drink and playing guess the price. As for the food, I haven't had, so i can't speak on the behalf of the kitchen.

MVCherry wrote about JD's Sports Bar

I went to JD's Sports bar last night for my first time. I have only been in Florida for almost 2 weeks and wanted to have a few drinks with a friend. My tab was $6.75 for two drinks. I tabbed out and gave her a 3 dollar tip, only because the drinks were so cheap. I payed with my card and when i awoke, my card statement online said that I was charged $20.00. Why would I give any bartender a $13.25 tip for mediocre service, if that. I may come here again, but I'm bringing cash next time and I will definitely tell people to check their account balance the next day if they pay with card.

CDR48fam wrote about Vapor Hookah Bar and Social Club

Ahhh yes… Vapor in Downtown Melbourne. I would say that I am a frequent visitor of this once fine establishment but that all changed last night. We showed up there for some Hookah and I guess the owners thought it would be a great idea to FORCE everyone to buy a liquid beverage or be forced to leave. I choose not to be bullied into spending more money at this place than we were already planning on. Usually when we go out we go through 2-4 double bowls of good hookah before calling it a night and most of the times, the bills are upwards of $75 and we don’t usually buy anything to drink let alone being forced into it. I have never been to a hookah lounge that made you buy a drink or had a cover charge… and there are plenty of hookah places to go to around town that do not and are cheaper. Vapor has really gone downhill over the past year; maybe the new management is to blame. Nothing beats being rained on while you’re inside the building because they don’t know how to take care of this building. We ended up speaking to one of the managers regarding the issue of being forced to buy a drink or leave and he shrugged it off with his I don’t care attitude… must not care about anyone’s business even if they spend a lot of money feeding his family and are frequent visitors. To add further insult to injury… the waitress we had was a total (not nice word) and just downright rude so that was also a conversation for him to hear. The place is so worried about losing money yet we observed some of the servers handing out free hookah as they hit on the opposite sex… wow and RUDE! NEVER GOING BACK AND I HAVE A BIG MOUTH.

Spanky's is the place to be if you want a bar "where the locals go". While talking to people at the bar, I found out it was recently purchased by a new owner and also has a new manager. The people I met were friendly and the happy hour crowd was a mix of about everyone imaginable (young & old , male & female). The drink prices were ok, in the $2 - $4 range. Smoking is allowed, but with the smoke eaters they have in the ceiling, it was hardly noticable. They also have video trivia and video poker games at the bar, and it was free 2 play, so I played a few games against others sitting at the bar. It was fun. Bartender was friendly and the service was good. I had a good time so I will definitely go back.

I was out with my wife and we went to this place. I have been here before genereally this place is busy so you dont get any customer service at the bar. They have a really old way of taking cards you have to give the card to them and they hold it and they write all drinks down (which can lead to confusion/over payment & theft). I have been missed billed twice but got it resolved through the card companies. BUT I WRITE THIS REVIEW TODAY FOR WHAT HAPPENED ON A RECENT (& LAST EVER VISIT). THE PLACE HAS A COUCH AREA WHERE MY WIFE AND I WERE HANGING OUT WITH SOME FRIENDS. WE WERE INFACT TOLD TO COME IN THAT SECTION BY A BOUNCER MANAGING THAT AREA. AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES A MAN CAME IN AND TOLD US TO GET OUT OF THERE. YES HE SAID GET OUT OF THERE. WE OBOUSLY HAD SOME WORDS. WE EVEN LET HIM KNOW THE BOUNCER SAID IT WAS OK TO BE IN HERE. HE THEN INFORMED ME ONLY PEOPLE WHO BUY A BOTTLE CAN BE THERE AND i ASKED HIM WHO SAID THAT AND HE SAID HE WORKS THERE AND HE JUST GOT OFF WORK BOUGHT A BOTTLE. I GOT ATTENTION OF THE BOUNCER WHO INVITED US IN. HE AKNOWDLGE THAT HE LET US IN BUT HE ALSO ASKED US TO LEAVE. I THEN TOLD HIM WHY BOTH COULDNT STAY AND HE REPEATED THE BOTTLE ISSUE. SO TWO EMPLOYEE CONSIDER THEMSELVES BOSSES AND MAKE/BREAK THE RULES. WE WERE VERY INSULTED AND WE LEFT. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE VISIT THERE AND WE WILL DO ALL IN OUR POWER TO MAKE SURE OUR FRIENDS DONT EITHER. WE EVEN ASKED FOR A MANAGER WHO SAID ALTOUGH THE EMPLOYEES WERE WRONG WE WOULD HAVE TO HANGAROUND THE NORMAL AREA WHICH IS FINE WITH US BUT HE WAS ALSO RUDE AND THE FACT HE WOULD NOT TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST THE EMPLOYEES FURTHER MADE THE SISTUATION WORSE.

I used to really like this place! Chill environment, good food, cool people, awesome employees. But within the past year things have really changed. They got rid of the food, a lot of my friends and I were really bummed about that. But, we would still go in for the relaxed environment that was offered. I believe the management has undergone some change, and I have to say that I miss the way things used to be. All of the people that we would go in to see do not even work there anymore. It is as if the entire staff was replaced with completely new people. Not saying that the new staff is bad, and I guess change is good sometimes. But, this used to be one of my favorite places to go to and now it is unlikely I will continue to go there. :(

I was an employee until recently and I can tell you first hand that they have both a large rat and roach infestation. I was in the back where all of the food is stored and saw no less than 6 rats at once scurrying and staring at me. On 3 occasions I had a roach jump onto me while i was making peoples plates and saw several more on the floors and shelving. ( By roach I mean the large palmetto bugs ). They also squish every single burger they make on the same raw meat pan which sits at room temperature (usually 105 or better in that kitchen) and is not washed or sanitized at all until closing 12 hours later. The owner also does not require hand washing after dealing with raw meat, he says rinsing your hands in the same sanitizing bucket he keeps the towels in all day is proper. I swear before God and upon my life that these words are true. DO NOT EAT THERE unless your very brave.
