What: Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, which has been serving seafood for at least 60 years. It also is home to Twister Airboat Rides.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Entertainment:
Airboat rides open at 10 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. daily and weather permitting. At 5:30 p.m., the last boat ride goes out. It's a 30-minute ride for 15 passengers. You'll see all kinds of wildlife, including alligators, turtles, birds, snakes, cows and calves. Cost is $22, $15 for kids 12 and younger and free for kids younger than 3. Lone Cabbage also features a 60- and 90-minute eco tour. Rides are on a smaller, four- to six-passenger boat called the Little Twister. Call in advance. Lone Cabbage hosts a live band every Sunday. A regular is the Saddle Band.

Food and drink:
Lone Cabbage is known for the rare gems -- frog legs and gator. Other items on the menu include burgers, chicken sandwiches, boneless wings, shrimp, quesadillas and a steak, onion and cheese sandwich. Lone Cabbage boasts a full liquor bar and plenty of beers.

Atmosphere:
Lone Cabbage is on the St. John's River. There is a deck that overlooks it. Outside dining is available.

Crowd:
Sundays at the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp is like a cookout with family and friends in the backyard. Patrons of all ages and all types came out for some good fun. Many socialized while listening to live entertainment while others took off on jet skis or airboats. At the camp or on the water, everyone was friendly and welcoming. If the outdoors gets a little too hot, grab a cold one and venture inside for some air conditioning.
