Capt. Hiram's motto: "Where you can be lazy or crazy." Our opinion? That is so true. Enjoy dramatic views of the Indian River on an open-air, riverfront patio deck or scenic indoor seating in all-weather comfort. Capt. Hiram's offers fresh seafood, fine food and service all in a great atmosphere. The full menu is served all day including a grilled mahi-mahi sandwich, a raw bar, sesame yellowfin tuna, grilled jumbo shrimp, broiled sea scallops and lobster tail, clam chowder and a wide variety of after-dinner coffees. The restaurant is part of the Capt. Hiram's Resort, complete with a hotel, three music stages, a sandbar, banquet hall, marina and gift shop. Boaters can "cruise-in" at mile marker 66. With three stages there is a music style for everyone ranging from classic rock to reggae and Top 40 dance to modern rock (for a complete band schedule, visit the Web site). Items on the menu range from $9 to $16.
