Hours: 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, but on Friday and Saturday it closes at 10 p.m.
Entertainment: Look for a DJ and reggae party at 10¤p.m. every Friday. Rum Runners has bands at 10¤p.m. Saturdays.
Happy hour: From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, get $2.25 well drinks and $2 domestic drafts.
Ladies night: From 9 p.m. to midnight Thursdays, ladies get free well drinks and free domestic drafts.
Food and drink: Rum Runners serves an award-winning clam chowder along with a combo of burgers, seafood, wraps, chicken and wings. Its dry rub seasoning is the most popular wing. If you’re close by, the restaurant can deliver. Look for $5 lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, when you can get spaghetti and meatballs, mini burgers and fries, meatloaf and potatoes, fried chicken and potatoes, clam strips and fries, BLT and fries or half a sandwich and a cup of soup.
Other daily specials that vary include two hot dogs and french fries and a free draft for $5. Call the bar for more specifics. Rum Runners has a full liquor bar. Martinis, too.

Crowd: On the Friday night we went, we could hear the party from the parking lot. Music provided by a DJ filled the air as patrons bounced their heads to the beat. The crowd was in their 20s to 30s — upbeat, energetic and ready for fun. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, some even were bikini-clad. This place has that island-style feel, very tropical. Drinks were flowing and good times were had as patrons let loose at Rum Runners.
