What: JD's Sports Lounge, a hot spot for darts

Entertainment: On occasion, JD's has bands. Play a round of Texas Hold 'Em at 7 p.m. Thursday and Saturday. Play the shuffleboard table, throw darts or play some video games or pool. We hear there's a buzztime trivia game at the bar, too.
JD's hosts a dart league on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Happy hour: Happy hour is from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. Get 50 cents off anything. Monday through Friday, there's a daily $2 drink special, which varies, so give them a call or stop by. Get $1.50 domestic bottles from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays.
Food and drink: No food, but JD's has a full liquor bar.
Atmosphere: With televisions across the bar, you won't miss the latest play of the game. This is a bar where folks know each other's names, but like new people, too.
Crowd: Even as thunderstorms rolled in, patrons made their way to JD's in search of good times on a recent Friday night. The crowd, mostly in their 20s to 40s, was fun and upbeat. Many of the patrons were camera shy, but others were very camera happy. JD's is small, loud, dark and smoky, typical of most bars. Many played pool, threw darts or hit the dance floor, while others mingled and socialized with their favorite drink.
